RWTH Aachen University is an Integrated Interdisciplinary University of Science and Technology located in the cross-border region of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. RWTH Aachen offers competence-, research- and practice-oriented training with the goal of developing highly qualified and responsible graduates for leading positions in science, society and business. The University educates over 45,000 students enrolled in 184 courses. This includes almost 12,000 international students. RWTH Aachen is committed to excellence in teaching. The use of digital technologies is firmly anchored in its teaching strategy in order to help students develop their full potential and specific skills as effectively as possible. RWTH Aachen offers more than 30 MOOCs from various fields of science and technology to students around the world. As of 2020, about 160,000 students have participated in our open online courses.
