December 9-11, 2020

Global Massive Open Online Challenge 2021

It is a global competition that requires students working collaboratively in teams to come up with creative solutions in addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) locally.

In addition to having access to free MOOCs on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and on leadership skills workshop, outstanding teams will also get additional funding and guidance to pilot their projects locally!

Did I mention that the winning teams will also receive awards from UNESCO at the International Day of Education 2022 (January 24) too?!

After the official launch on January 24, we will release two rounds of online courses. Teams that completed both courses will be invited to join the Accelerator Bootcamp in August, where the pitching competition will be held and outstanding teams will be selected. Then the teams will have the remaining months of 2021 to launch their pilot locally before their final presentation in January 2022.
