Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation: MHESI has established Thailand Cyber University Project (TCU) in 2005 in order to provide an E-learning services for all general students and people from any educational and occupational background, by using Inter-University Network: UniNet, to make tertiary education becomes more accessible for people, and start creating a strong foundation of a knowledge-based society.

Thai MOOC has providing services since 2016, cooperated with many universities and institutions in production and improvement on courses, to ensure qualities and effectiveness on its courses for learners. Nowadays, Thai MOOC has more than 614,892 users.

Representatives on Board & Executive Committee

Thapanee Thammetar is the Associate Professor and Director of Thailand Cyber University (TCU) Project, Ministry of Higher Education Science Research and Innovation, Thailand. She obtained her Ph D, doctoral degree in Educational Technology and Communication at Chulalongkorn University. She is also a lecturer at Silpakorn University. She teaches in the B.Ed. course, M.Ed. course and Ph.D. course at the Faculty of Education Silpakorn University. She has conducted a number of researches on e-learning development principles and guidelines and information communication technologies for education, teaching and online learning.

Jintavee Khlaisang is the Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Technology and Communications, and the member of Educational Invention and Innovation research unit, Faculty of Education,Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Jintavee is also the deputy director of Thailand Cyber University Project, Office of the Higher Education Commission, Ministry of Education. Her recent publication was the book titled Ubiquitous Technology Enhanced Learning: the Outcome-based Learning Design for21st Century Learners (2018). Her recent research projects are the Development of Gamified Self-Regulated Learning System in Ubiquitous Learning Environment to enhance Achievement Motivation for Thai MOOC (2018-present), and Development of Self-Initiated Learning in Ubiquitous Environment Model Using Smart Wearable Technology to Enhance Digital Literacy of Global Citizens ( 2019-present. Her research interests include Disruptive Learning innovation, Ubiquitous Learning, Flipped learning, Blended Learning, Virtual Learning Environment, Open education, and MOOCs.
